Service Changes from 1 November 2026
We have recently reviewed usage on a number of less than daily services across Devon, which have the highest cost per passenger journey made. The following changes will take effect from 1 November 2026
Service 121 (Tavistock – Milton Abbot) This service will no longer operate as it duplicates service 84
Service 122 (Tavistock – Peter Tavy & Horndon) Due to very low usage this service will be withdrawn. Community Transport options will be put in place for Horndon & Peter Tavy.
Service 193 (Bovey Tracey – Newton Abbot) Due to no regular users, this service will be withdrawn.
Service 671 will continue to link Haytor Vale & Ilsington to Newton Abbot
Service 322 (Ashreigney – Barnstaple) Due to low usage, this service will be amended to operate on Tuesday only and will no longer serve Bideford.
Service 325 (Lapford – Barnstaple) Following a trial period using BSIP funding, this service will now revert to operating on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday only.
Service 648 (Winkleigh – Okehampton) Due to low usage, the Monday journey will be withdrawn. The service will continue to operate on Thursday.
Service 658 (West Buckland – Barnstaple) Due to very low usage, the Friday journey will no longer operate. The service will continue to operate on Tuesday.
Service 671 (Okehampton – Newton Abbot) This service will be re-routed to operate from Manaton via Haytor Vale & Ilsington to Newton Abbot, no longer serving Bovey Tracey or Trago Mills.
Service 696 (South Molton – East Anstey) Due to very low usage this service will no longer operate. Community Transport options will be available to enable essential journeys for existing users.
Service 873 (South Molton – Brayford) Due to very low usage this service will no longer operate. Alternative essential journey options exist for all users. Brayford will continue to have service 654 on Tuesdays, and The Bucklands continue to have service 658 on Tuesday.
