Remembrance Day 2023<\/h3>\n

\"\"<\/a>This year Remembrance Sunday falls on the 12th November 2023. Volunteers will be visiting premises across the Parish to collect donations for the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal to support those that have served in our armed forces and those that serve today. Remembrance Service 2023<\/strong><\/p>\n

Every year the village comes together at the war memorial in the village to remember the sacrifice of those who have fallen in conflicts since the First World War. In particular we remember those men commemorated on the Brentor war memorial who left their homes here in Brentor Parish and never returned. The service will commence at 10.45 a.m. with a short service and wreath laying ceremony before a service of remembrance at Christ Church.<\/p>\n
